We were delighted to welcome Paddy Boyle to the school recently. Paddy has always been a great supporter of the school and came along to talk to the 5th and 6th Classes about past times – and even took the time to play a few card games with them! Our school quiz teams took part in the annual Credit Union Quiz on Monday 9th February at the Abbey Hotel. A great night was had by all!

Mock Presidential Election
Mock Presidential Election

The upcoming Presidential Election gave the pupils the opportunity to learn about the election process in Ireland by carrying out their own mock election. The candidates worked hard to try and secure the votes of the pupils who voted on the day and the election officials were on hand to ensure a smooth voting process. As for the winner? Rumour has it the votes are still being counted ……!

Repair Works at School Entrance

Furey Tarmac recently came to the school to undertake some repair works at the front of the school. This work was made possible by grants received from Donegal Co. Council under their Development Fund Initiative. Our thanks to Cllr Noel Jordan and Cllr. Jimmy Brogan for their support.
