We are always looking at ways to improve the wellbeing of our pupils at the school, and our new buddy benches and mud kitchens are a welcome addition to the school playground.
Our 5th & 6th Class Pupils always enjoy working with our Infant Class and today they spent some time reading together.
The school were delighted to be represented in the Féile Fichille Chess Tournament today in the Abbey Hotel in Donegal Town. All of our pupils represented the school excellently and had a great day out. Our thanks to Mr. McDermott for organising this.
We were delighted to welcome Paddy Boyle to the school recently. Paddy has always been a great supporter of the school and came along to talk to the 5th and 6th Classes about past times – and even took the time to play a few card games with them! Thanks to Paddy and Breda for spending some time with us.
Our school quiz teams took part in the annual Credit Union Quiz on Monday 9th February at the Abbey Hotel. A great night was had by all!
Barry Doherty of the Flood Risk Management Department of the Office of Public Works came to the school today to show the children a fun Lego catchment model to explain flood relief strategies.
The children always enjoy the annual tradition of making St. Brigids Crosses and this year was no different.
