Our weekly GAA training sessions continue with Donie from St. Naul’s GAA & LGFA Club. The children of 1st & 2nd Classes are, as always, enjoying learning new skills.

Week one of our Last Person Standing Competition saw a total of 544 entries begin the competition. With results going well for some and not others, we lost 102 entrants over the course of the weekend. There are 442 remaining entrants going into this weekends competition. Our popular ‘Last Person Standing’ fundraiser gets underway today, with a fantastic 544 entrants! Best of luck to all our entrants, and thank you to you all for your support of this fundraiser, which helps us take a step closer to the completion of our artificial playground at the school.

Our school teams took part in a gaelic football blitz at Inver Community Centre recently. Great fun by all with some super skills on show from our boys and girls!

We are pleased to announce the return of our popular fundraiser ‘Last Person Standing’ which will commence on 24th February 2023. We are in the final stages of the construction of our artificial playground here at the school and the funds raised from ‘Last Person Standing’ will enable us to take a step towards completion. Please download the entry form here and forward it to the school before 3.00pm on Thursday 23rd February to secure your entry. With a prize of €500 up for grabs we hope this will be a successful fundraiser to help benefit all the pupils here! Thanks for your support.

Great excitement at school today following the fantastic performances by all the pupils at the two Nativity Shows yesterday. Firstly we held our Christmas assembly where we were treated to some solo and group performances by all the class groups. Then Santa came to visit! We were delighted to welcome Santa to the school again this year and would like to thank him for coming to see us all. Happy Christmas everyone!!

The children from 3rd-6th Classes made a much welcomed return to The Diamond in Donegal Town today as the school took part in the carol singing organised by Donegal Town Business Focus Group. Mrs McDaid, as always, was the choir leader and the children represented the school excellently. Well done to all the boys and girls who took part, and thank you to Donegal Town Business Focus Group for the treats for the children after they had finished singing – much appreciated!
