Repair Works at School Entrance

Furey Tarmac recently came to the school to undertake some repair works at the front of the school. This work was made possible by grants received from Donegal Co. Council under their Development Fund Initiative. Our thanks to Cllr Noel Jordan and Cllr. Jimmy Brogan for their support.

We had a special little visitor to the school today as Fionn and Odhráns Daddy brought in a spring lamb for the children to see. Everyone was very excited to see the lamb. Our thanks to Seamus for taking the time to bring it in.

The pupils of 3rd and 4th Classes are doing a Spring Bud Race, using buds from native and naturalised trees in Ireland.

The pupils of 1st and 2nd Classes have been learning about capacity in maths. They enjoyed estimating and measuring using different containers!

As part of our Green Schools project on Biodiversity, we planted various species of trees at the school. We were helped by students from the AVS who were here as part of their TY work experience.
