Making Books for the Infants

The pupils of the Senior Room wrote and illustrated books for the children of the Junior Room. This is a project we undertake every year and it is always enjoyed by older and younger pupils alike!

The children of Junior & Senior Infants have enjoyed tasting all the fruit and vegetables that the Food Dudes sent us this week!!

Early Intervention Literacy with Infants

All the children in the school are currently taking part in GAA training with Brian Roper from Donegal GAA. The 1st & 2nd Class children are certainly enjoying learning their new skills!

The Senior and Junior Classrooms enjoyed some time together doing some paired reading. The younger pupils really enjoyed meeting their older buddies and we hope to do this again in the near future!

5th & 6th Classes Nature Walk
5th & 6th Classes Nature Walk

5th & 6th Classes embarked on a nature trail around the school grounds. We were looking for mini beasts, wild berries and wild flowers. It’s amazing what we found around the school environment!

Senior Infants became authors and illustrators when they made books called “All About Me”. They read them to the Junior Infants.

We went for a nature walk in the playground. We had pictures of all the things we had to find. Lots of fun!

Junior & Senior Infants run laps of the playground every morning to wake us up and keep us fit and healthy. We also do jumping jacks and crossover exercises to warm up first. Always a good start to the day!
