1st and 2nd Classes have made some lovely mini books on Turkey. We have chosen Turkey as our country to run to for ‘Run Around Europe’
The 34 entrants who had selected Aston Villa this weekend must have been very relieved at the end of that game, with Luton holding the game level until the 89th minute! No big shocks this weekend – although the draw between Chelsea and Brentford took out 27 entrants, while the 63 people who selected Arsenal had a very comfortable weekend result! With a total of 342 starting and 56 entrants leaving the competition this weekend, we now move on with 286 ‘people standing’. All starts again on Saturday – good luck everyone! Well done to our 6th Class quiz team, who have had great success over the past couple of weeks! Firstly they won the local division of the Credit Union Quiz, followed by another win at the Garda Quiz. They will now move on to the county finals of both quizzes, taking place in the near future. Congratulations to you all and best wishes going forward. Everyone at St. Naul’s is very proud of your achievements to date. 
A very interesting start to our Last Person Standing, with 106 entrants leaving the competition after the first round of results. Congratulations to the two entrants who placed their faith in Fulham to beat Manchester United – a game which took 54 entrants out of the competition. Manchester City winning 1-0 against 14th placed Bournemouth ensured the majority of entrants survived the first weekend. With Liverpool, Chelsea, Luton and Spurs all back in action this weekend, we go on with 342 entrants – best of luck to you all! For results of week one please click here
The ASF Committee members introduced the Run Around Europe 2024 challenge to everyone today at Assembly. Everyone was very excited and couldn’t wait to get started.
We started our Run Around Europe 24 running challenge today.
Junior and Senior Infants are running to Paris.
1st,2nd,3rd and 4th are running to Ankara while 5th and 6th class are running to Athens.
This weekend marks the beginning of our Last Person Standing competition. As always; we have had a large number of entries for the competition, starting today with 448 entrants. A huge thank you to all the families who returned their sheets, and to those who entered – good luck to you all!
