Credit Union Art Competition Winners!
Credit Union Art Competition Winners!

We always encourage the artistic side of our pupils here at St. Naul’s, and their skills always come to the fore when it comes to the Credit Union Art Competition! This year was no different, as four of our pupils won awards. Well done to Oisín, Ryan, Doireann and Liam.

Last Person Standing – Week 6
Last Person Standing – Week 6

Our competition is now entering week 7 with the loss of 22 entrants in the last round of games. We now start game week 7 with 66 ‘people standing’. Best of luck to all the entrants for these games, and as per previous weeks, any entrants for games postponed due to Covid-19 will automatically progress to the next round.

Last Person Standing – Week 5
Last Person Standing – Week 5

A good week for most of our entrants as the total standing at the end of the week 5 games is 88 with the loss of only 9 entrants in last weekend’s games. The two entrants for the Brighton v Spurs game have been put through to week 6 games with the postponement of that game due to Covid-19.

So we begin our week 6 tonight. With the postponement of Brentford v Manchester United (due to Covid-19), this also means that the 8 entrants for that game will automatically proceed to the next round.

Liverpool are the front runners on the selection this week, with 14 keen supporters! They are followed by Aston Villa with 11 and close behind them are Brighton, Burnley and Crystal Palace – who all have 10 entrants this week. Six teams had no selections this week: Brentford, Everton, Leeds, Newcastle, Southampton and Spurs. Best of luck to our 88 remaining ‘People Standing’ and check back on Friday when we will be posting the latest round of results in our competition. Click the link below to see this week’s results.

Last Person Standing 2021 – Game Week 4
Last Person Standing 2021 – Game Week 4

We are down to below 100 competitors now as we approach the half way stage of the competition. With the loss of 33 entrants in the weekend games, 97 entrants are going forward to this weekend’s games, with 23 hoping for a Manchester United win, 18 for a Chelsea win and 17 for an Arsenal win. We also have high hopes for Leicester, Manchester City, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Everton, Liverpool, Spurs, Burnley and Norwich, whilst the other 8 premier league teams did not feature in any selection for this coming weekend.

Best of luck to all the entrants! Click the link below to see if you are one of them! If your line is green on week 5 – you are still in!

Last Person Standing – Week 3
Last Person Standing – Week 3

The games are coming thick and fast at the moment and we have lost another 87 entrants in the last three days! Down to 130 now coming into the next round of games – which start tomorrow, 4th December with a 12.30pm kick off at the London Stadium as West Ham host Chelsea. Best of luck to all the remaining entrants and we will update and post our results table on Tuesday after the Monday night game of Everton v Arsenal. Good luck everyone!

Last Person Standing – Week Two
Last Person Standing – Week Two

Not too much of a change to the table this week as most of our participants chose wisely in their week two selections! We lost 66 participants in comparison to 194 who went out in the first week! We now have 217 entries into this week’s games, with a wide selection of teams picked. The 15 entrants for last weekend who picked Burnley v Spurs have been put through to next weekend automatically as that game was postponed and, as far as we understand, it is unlikely to be re-fixed for this side of Christmas.

Click the link below to see how the competition is going. Entrants in green are still in the competition – once a team is beaten or draws in a game, the line goes red which means unfortunately that entrant is out.

Best of luck to all our entrants for the next round of games – which start tonight!

Last Person Standing – Week One!
Last Person Standing – Week One!

It wasn’t just Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who was crying at the weekend, as 194 of our ‘Last Person Standing’ participants fell at the first hurdle with Watford producing a shock result! This leaves 283 wise participants surviving into week two of the competition.

To follow your progress, please click the link below to see the list of participants and their selections. This list will be updated every Tuesday so keep checking our website to see how you are getting on!

Thanks again to everyone who has supported this fundraiser. Best of luck to the remaining ‘People Standing’!
