The children of Junior & Senior Infants learned about habitats. We made our own ‘Jungle’ and ‘Under the Sea’ art displays.

Junior & Senior Infants planted pea seeds. We have looked after them by watering them and making sure they got plenty of sunlight. We are taking them home to plant them in our gardens.

Junior & Senior Infants went on a minibeast hunt along our Active School Walkway. We used our magnifying glasses to get a really good look at all the minibeasts!

Ag Sugradh le Chéile

Niamh from the Donegal Sports Partnership came to the school today as part of the Ag Sugradh le Ch̩ile project, which aims to promote active play between parents and children. The parents/grandparents of the Junior and Senior Infants were invited to school and as you can see from the photographs Рa lot of fun was had by all!

Junior and Senior Infants had great fun today doing circuits with the pupils from 5th & 6th Classes.

Something Fishy!

Inland Fisheries Ireland visited the school recently to teach the pupils a little bit about fish, water, angling and the environment. After a presentation given to the 5th & 6th Class pupils, everyone got a chance to have a look at the various fish! As you can seen from the photographs, everyone from Infants all the way up to 6th Class was very interested in Something Fishy!

Junior and Senior Infants enjoyed a daily extra playtime this week as a reward for filling their ‘Bucket of Kindness’ during lent. Good fun was had by all and the pupils have been practising ball skills, skipping, balancing etc., using the school’s P.E. equipment. Thankfully the weather has been on our side!
