We took two separate tours this year to the same venue – Finn Valley Centre. All the children took part in a day of sporting activities and games and some of them even got to meet boxer Jason Quigley and see the coastguard helicopter up close!
Our thanks to the Parents Association for their contribution towards the cost of the buses for the tours. The children all had a fantastic day out and arrived home happy and tired!

Today the whole school took part in ’10 @ 10′ as part of our ongoing Active School Project. All the children (and Teachers/Sna’s!) took part in ten minutes of exercise at 10.00am on the 10th day of the month. Click on a photograph to enlarge and see more!

We had great success at this year’s Credit Union Art Competition when four of our pupils were prize winners. Well done to all!
We are already busy planning our Christmas Nativity Play, which will take place this year on Wednesday 21st December. We have begun learning our songs and lines and costumes are being prepared! We are all very excited and hope you will all come along to see us perform!

The Infants with some of the boxes which have been brought to school by the children for onward distribution to poor children in Africa and Eastern Europe. The Shoebox Appeal is a charity which we support every year and the children enjoy filling their boxes and bringing them to school!
The Infants went on a hunt around the school to see all the Autumn leaves!
