Donegal Town Credit Union have always been great supporters of our school and we were delighted to receive this donation. The children of Junior & Senior Infants learned about habitats. We made our own ‘Jungle’ and ‘Under the Sea’ art displays.

Junior & Senior Infants planted pea seeds. We have looked after them by watering them and making sure they got plenty of sunlight. We are taking them home to plant them in our gardens.

The pupils here at St. Naul’s always plant various flowers and vegetables as part of our school garden. This has continued as part of our Green Schools Project on Biodiversity. The children of 3rd & 4th Classes have planted onions, as well as potatoes and strawberries. We are hoping for a big crop!

As part of our Green Schools Project on Biodiversity, all of our pupils are learning about planting. Our 3rd & 4th Class pupils are very eager in their project work.

Our Garden Club was set up this week. A group of children will work at tidying up our flower beds and planting new bulbs. This is a great chance for the children to be active and take part in multi-sensory activities such as planting, weeding, feeding and harvesting.
