Our Sportshall Athletics team reached the county final yesterday at the Aura Centre in Letterkenny. They performed excellently on the day and came fourth. Congratulations to our neighbours in Frosses NS who came third. Well done everyone!
We had our St. Patrick’s Day Parade today .We all wore green to school and used our Active School Walkway for our parade. Pupils from 5th and 6th class led the parade and provided the music, while some of our younger pupils gave a fine display of Irish dancing.

1st and 2nd Classes have made some lovely mini books on Turkey. We have chosen Turkey as our country to run to for ‘Run Around Europe’
The ASF Committee members introduced the Run Around Europe 2024 challenge to everyone today at Assembly. Everyone was very excited and couldn’t wait to get started.
We started our Run Around Europe 24 running challenge today.
Junior and Senior Infants are running to Paris.
1st,2nd,3rd and 4th are running to Ankara while 5th and 6th class are running to Athens.
As is normal practice every Friday, the whole school took part in GAA training with Donie from St. Naul’s GAA. This week, however, things took a spooky turn as all sorts of characters turned up to train! Our thanks as always to Donie for being such a good sport!
Everyone is enjoying playing with the skipping ropes, beanbags, rackets and balls in the playground at lunchtime .
The Playground Leaders help to distribute and collect the equipment and also work with Junior and Senior Infants showing them how to skip and use the rackets and balls.
The Active Flag Committee members helped to sort out our new P.E. Equipment. We purchased new bean bags, skipping ropes and cones and put them into boxes for each classroom.
