The 5th & 6th Class Pupils designed circuits for the 1st & 2nd Class pupils to enjoy.
Inland Fisheries Ireland visited the school recently to teach the pupils a little bit about fish, water, angling and the environment. After a presentation given to the 5th & 6th Class pupils, everyone got a chance to have a look at the various fish! As you can seen from the photographs, everyone from Infants all the way up to 6th Class was very interested in Something Fishy!
1st & 2nd Class Pupils have enjoyed some planting as part of the Supervalu Lets Grow Programme. They have planted cress seeds, pumpkin seeds, peas and salad leaves. We can’t wait until they start to grow!
1st & 2nd Classes enjoyed their weekly GAA training session with Donie today in the sun soaked playground!
The children in 1st & 2nd Classes enjoyed their Easter art this week – finishing up today with their fabulous Easter Bunny hats! Well done everyone!
We had a very active day at school today to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! All the children have been learning Irish and Céilà Dancing for the past week or two and all the new skills learned were put into practice as the children took part in their céilÃ. We also held our annual parade on the school yard, accompanied by our brilliant musicians. Lots of art and crafts went home, as well as certificates for Seachtain na Gaeilge Well done everyone! Our weekly GAA training sessions continue with Donie from St. Naul’s GAA & LGFA Club. The children of 1st & 2nd Classes are, as always, enjoying learning new skills.
