The Active School Flag is a Department of Education & Skills initiative and it is awarded to schools that strive to achieve a physically educated and physically active school community.
We were awarded our first Active School Flag in 2015 and this was renewed in 2019. We are now working towards renewing our flag again this year.
Our Active School Slogan is ‘Hop, Skip, Jog, Run – you will have lots of fun!’, which came from a poster competition for the children to design a character and slogan for our project.
